"drinking coffee; making plans to change the world."

a lesson learned

August 14, 2003
you just never know what you're going to find out about someone. and it never fails, whatever they are trying to keep you from seeing will surface. it's kind of sad now that i look back on it, and of course it hurts a little bit. but i think i'm much better off with this knowledge. thats all i'm saying about that.

yesterday was just a WEIRD day. and the same as the day before, my day didn't start until about 11pm. we sat around panera parking lot for awhile watching jake and constance sit in their car and smoke. then katie took me for a ride (one last time) and we waved at some hot guys in a huge dodge (katie approved car wise) then somehow nelly found his way into the cd player. go figure.

so after that crazy ride, lara and i took a trip over to dustins new place (only getting lost once) and we all went to ihop. lara got upset when they didn't take checks and decided to tap into her klepto side by stealing an ashtray. for a moment we thought someone had seen her and was coming to stop the madness, but alas, we were decieved.

dustin has a new ashtray.

after all of this, we headed back to the apt. dustin and i watched some cowboy bebop (i probably spelled that wrong..but who uses the word "bebop" anymore?) while i froze to death in his freezer...oh ummm...i mean room.

*sigh* boys.

and so now my day has started again. i go to work tonight and afterwards my day will "officially" start i'm sure. on the agenda: watching bad boys at isaac's.
