can i get a "boy howdy!!"

friday i went out to harrison bay with dustin. we were there a grand total of 15 minutes when we decided that it was better to actually GO swimming instead of just dipping feet in the water. so we left to go to the pool at his place. and once again, we were in there a total of about 15 minutes when we got bored. or rather, i got bored and started reading cosmo and he joined me. what is it with boys reading cosmo?

later, joey met up with us and we went to steak-n-shake to eat. for me, a grilled cheese sandwich. thanks to ryan, i haven't eaten meat in a long time...and i can't bring myself to do it no matter how bad i want it. again, what is it with boys?

joey and i went to see johnny depp on the big screen (the second time for both of us) and MAN, IS HE A HOTTIE!! but for the sake of great film, it was an outstanding movie. much inward applause from me.

today, i went to church with jeremy. wonderful, wonderful service. very refreshing. religion (while somewhat confusing) is beautiful.

afterwards, i went to get gas at golden gallon in ooltewah and (JOY!!) the woman behind the counter recognized me! i used to see her every morning last year, and she was like "hey! whatcha been up to lately?" and i was like "hey! you remembered me! awesome!" yep, thats really what i said. than i had a talk with a motercylce dude in the parking lot about something. i don't remember...he talked funny. THEN i went dress shopping with joey. lemme tell ya, it's not easy dress shopping with a gay guy. he didn't like hardly ANYTHING i picked out. sheesh...boys. (thats 3 times i mentioned boys in a somewhat bad sense...catching on yet?)

after looking for an hour and buying nothing we headed to the pool for an hour where we made fun of each other and talked about "nothing in paticular." then it was on to work. yep, work. an entirely different story altogether.

deep breath.

so in general, work was okay. around 9:30pm though, things got hairy. i was making a drink when a guy came up to me and asked if he could change his drink to something else cause he didn't like the coffee. see, this wouldn't have been a big deal normally, but i was TOTALLY busy making espresso drinks for people. i had at least 6 lined up already. but, being the nice nice person i am...i obliged him. big mistake. as soon i agreed to make something else, the phone rang. figuring it was a manager call or something i picked it up. nope. it was an old lady who wanted to know what soups we had the next day and descriptions of them. so already, i have 6 drinks to make...a guy who is waiting for me to help him..and an old woman on the phone. so i put her on hold for a second while i tried to finish the drink i was making at the moment. are you following me here?? it's kinda hard...keep up. so i finished the drink and handed it to the girl and she took it...then asked if i could put it in a "to go" cup for her. grrrrrrr. so i did this (trying to smile through my frustration) and then i dealt with the lady on the phone. alright, two down...6 more to go. i helped the guy who hated his drink..caught up on everything else and started to clean up a little so i could head back to my area and close. well, i had forgotten that we had two women closing bakery who had never closed before. so i had to help them close, and then close my own area. all the while answering questions from the new girl in dining room who didn't know how to do her job either. WHO TRAINS THESE PEOPLE??????????? i clocked out at 11:15pm. and if anyone knows panera at all, thats kinda sad.

oh well. it's saturday. i had an awesome day regardless, plus (!!!!!!) i get to be at work tomorrow at 8am to start it all over!! happy day.

i haven't had much time to dwell on "other" things lately. and to top it all off, i don't think my image on here is working. i have to fix this somehow...stay calm. i'll write it all down tomorrow. g'night.
