"drinking coffee; making plans to change the world."

vagabond...haha. good times.

October 12, 2003
first off, i must say that i looked up the definition of "loaf" a few minutes ago so as not to called ignorant in my ravings.

loaf. (v.)

To spend time in idleness; to lounge or loiter about. `` Loafing vagabonds.'' --W. Black.

i was sitting on the floor in panera waiting for my cash drawer to be counted. i was reading the comic section of the sunday paper. i was minding my own business and generally enjoying my time to myself.

troy (the kid who never speaks) throws a wet towel at me and tells me to "quit loafing around and get to work!"

i was naturally appalled that he had spoken at all, and even more so that he knew that word.

see? and everyone thinks dishwashers aren't smart.

it feels as though i never had a weekend. it came and went so quickly, and with no more rest than i usually get.

the highlights:

*pizza hut apparently runs out of everything during the week and has no food on friday. make a note of that, guys.

*even with the best of intentions...nemo didn't get found.

*church was amazing, but i guess vegetarians don't get to eat on saturday.

*watching football is so fun, even if the team you like is getting worked all over the field.

*realizing you have fallen for someone is the most 'awesome' feeling in the world.

*I'M BUYING A CAR!!! (okay, i had to just shout that one out)

and finally...

*waking up and realizing that the week has only just begun, and you have to do it ALL over again...

alright, so some of those were not highlights...but you get the general ideas.

the one major upset this weekend was the movies. sigh. i shall never go see another movie that i KNOW is going to be stupid. freddy vs. jason was a total waste of $2.50 (although i didn't pay..thanks rick). there was no plot line, the so-called "action scenes" were sloppy, and i still have no idea who won. freddy or jason?? i should have gone to sleep during the movie...i wanted to.
