May 25, 2005
She lives for the years, no longer the moment.

Her heart is as untouchable as new rain.

The sky opens, and she sighs with relief. That song comes on and reminds her that she lives.

She questions the mind, for it is a terrible thing to waste. She wants to taste the fresh air, but it lingers no more.

She loves to her full capacity, but it isn't enough. She loathes the self that has been given to her.

She lives for the years, no longer the moment. Realizing that to live is to sacrafice, and to sacrafice is to die.

She knows she cannot outsmart them all. She lives, and it's okay.
