i thought about past relationships last night, and how they might affect the course of ours.

i thought about people i have loved, and how to incorporate them into my life now that you've entered it.

i thought about all the reasons why i like you, and all the things that might potentially hurt our relationship.

of course, i thought about our talk on saturday night, and what those words actually meant.

and all i want to do right this second is surrender.

surrender to every feeling i have, every smile that comes, and every laugh that is an inevitable part of our relationship.
